Australian ICT companies are making an impressive show of force at this years’ CommunicAsia, held in Singaporeform June 2-5. Entering its 26th year, Asia’s most significant trade show covering IT, communications, mobile and converged digital services will feature speakers from companies ranging from Google, Spotify, Cisco, Amazon, LinkedIn and Singaporean government officials. CommunicAsia2015 is held concurrently with EnterpriseIT2015 and BroadcastAsia2015. International trade attendees are able to promote technology capabilities, witness the launch of latest innovations, engage in business opportunities and network with both major and emerging industry players from around the world.

 

 

The Australian communications and technology sector, which has traditionally comprised a strong delegation of established and emerging companies to CommunicAsia is ramping up its presence this year with support from Austrade and the Victorian State Government.

This year the Victorian Government has affirmed its commitment to the export of Victorian ICT innovations, hosting a Victorian Pavilion featuring 18 Victorian organisations.  Melbourne headquartered IPTV solutions company CombiTel will be taking part in the Australian pavilion which will also include Microlistics, Optotech  and M2M. Optus and Australian research and development body NICTA will  also be exhibiting at the show among other Australian players. CombiTel will be showcasing its Australian developed IPTV solutions for the enterprise sector, Omniscreen Pilot software and digital signage featuring both on-premises and cloud options.

They will also be featuring the Omniscreen Radio streamer which is an innovative solution designed to stream local digital and analogue radio stations over enterprise IP networks.

“The Victorian Government has worked closely with stakeholders in the local ICT sector and partners in Singapore to develop an initiative that will greatly boost the CommunicAsia experience of established and emerging participants. We welcome being part of this important trade mission which will assist in expanding market exposure through the Asian corridor,”  said CombiTel Managing Director Eugene Razbash.  

The trade mission program will include a range of business development activities including exhibiting on the Victorian Government stand, the use of the stand for meetings, participation in networking events, pavilion visits, and support from Victorian Government representatives. Chosen participants in the trade mission can attend CommunicAsia as either exhibitors or networkers.

“Australian companies have a huge opportunity to take our innovation onto a global scale and government support such as this helps foster that global pipeline,” he added.

The four day event at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore attracts around 33,000 trade attendees and 1,300 exhibitors.
