The VIP1963T is a compact, superior, HDTV IP and/or digital terrestrial network set-top with a built-in hard-disk drive for DVR functionality. It allows operators to expand their subscriber base, increase customer satisfaction and grow their average revenue per user by offering their consumers rich home entertainment experiences with crystal-clear HD picture and surround sound.It provides the added convenience of allowing consumers to watch one channel while enabling personalized DVR control of another channel—as well as the flexibility of watching on-demand services whenever they want.The VIP1963T is part of Motorola’s comprehensive, secure and scalable end-to-end IPTV solution suite. Combined with digital terrestrial broadcast, it enables operators to effectively compete with the incumbent terrestrial TV broadcasters while bringing down the cost of delivering compelling, next-generation HD IP video experiences.
